Putting up your own wind turbine or three?
Landmaps can provide maps to support your planning application, including location maps and/or detailed site surveys to help support your case.
Planners may also appreciate further information such as a viewshed analysis. This uses 3D information to indicate where the development is visible from, giving a better impression of how the development fits into the landscape. The map below provides an example viewshed analysis. You can click the icon on the top left of the image to have a closer look.
Landowner with a windfarm development on your land?
It can be useful to have an accurate record of how your land is being affected by the windfarm. Landmaps can provide maps to show as-laid drainage, cabling, bases and road infrastructure. Your IACS maps can also be altered to reflect the changing land use.
If the material for turbine bases or roads is being extracted from your land, 3D map calculations can be carried out to double check the volumes you expect to be paid for.
The map below shows an extract of a site survey.
